The KUMBAKONAM BRANCH OF SIRC OF ICAI, was inaugurated in September 1980 by the then President of the Institute Shri Y.H. Malegam, which was presided by Late CA. Shri S. Venkataraman, the founder Chairman of the Branch in the august presence of Late CA. Shri G.Narayanaswamy. The Branch in the immediate existence of eight years, purchased its own building and a new building was constructed in the time span of 1989 to 1994. The Branch building comprises of an Office Room, Library for students, a Conference Hall, and a Study Circle Meeting Hall. The Branch serving its best the interest of Members and Students a like. The learned Managing Committee Members till date are holding the torch high by making the deliberations through the Branch vibrant and useful.
